Hello,

Before entering Dr. Strange's EDM 310 class, I was not very interested in all of the new technology gadgets that were popping up on the market. Now I must say that I am actually considering getting an iPhone. I has a lot of cool apps, and I can continue with what I have learned. I do not think I'm as prepared for the iPad though. I think I will leave that one to the professionals.:-)

Hello,
I feel a bit naughty adding a comment when what I really want to do is ask a question, but here goes.

Hi Jo, I have been following your multiple online representations (I am truly in awe!) My question is with regard to the blogs you have set up for the students in room 9. Do you have a free account? (because I didn't see any ads). I have now set up my own account but would now like to set up accounts for each of my students accessed through our class email adress but I am not sure if this is possible with a free account. Hope you can shed a little light for me.

Hi Jo

I've been thinking about mLearning a bit recently and thinking about how we could utilise some of these ideas in an NZEI / union context. For a union of educators we are often slow to utilise sound education techniques and approaches in our union work. But I think people working with web / digital / mobile learning could amke a valuable contribution to how NZEI engages members. I'd be keen to explore this a bit more.

By the way - there was an interesting interview about mLearning on National Radio the other day - http://podcast.radionz.co.nz/ntn/ntn-20100504-0935-Mobile_learning-048.mp3
